Lessons from having Queen Folagbade

Beautiful day!! Some days ago, we had our beautiful Queen Folagbade. I took time to note some useful tips during my pregnancy period, I hope this helps a current and future mum –

Don’t try to do it all yourself – Get a transport manager (aka driver) or ride along with a colleague, engage people/ relatives to help with cooking, cleaning etc. Appreciate them when they assist, a thank you does a lot.😚

– Exercise as much as possible e.g. use the stairs and take walks when the weather is cool. Don’t over push the exercise please, when you are tired, it’s time to stop and continue the next time.

– Involve spouse: women carry the baby but it was formed by two. Let him know how you feel, send things to him you read up online etc.

-Increase your faith level: I believed and trusted for a supernatural birth and God did it. You tell God what a super natural birth means to you; for me the key words were quick, easy and without pain. Then gear up with the word of God for it!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Attend Antenatal classes: it’s tempting to sit at home on Saturdays (yes we do need to rest) instead of attending any class. However,it is an opportunity to learn how to take care of oneself and baby while sharing with experienced mothers. It is also a great time to get to know the medical personnel etc.

– Finance & Savings: open a separate acc for baby expenses and save monthly into it. All baby expenses should be paid from this account.
-Use your office’s HMO (Health Maintenance Operators), check the hospital list you maybe surprised that there is a good hospital that you like and ask about it from those that have used it.

-Social Media support: follow people that would inspire you through the process, for me some of them were @ifunto @healthy.pregnancy@makybenson @hometomums@christsoldiergirlfitness Special thanks to them 😍😍😘
However ensure not to compare another person’s experience with yours, God works in us differently.

Thanks for reading and I hope to share more in the coming days. Have a beautiful and blessed day 😊 Remember with God all things are possible!!!πŸ‘
