Ready for the Pressure

This week I left my makeup purse in the car. I just thought I don’t need it, let it stay there…

Guess what by the next morning, I realised my lipsticks had melted and were not useable anymore 🙁🙁
I tried and managed to use one out of my four and it was really a struggle. By the end of the week, I had to replace them all.
Note they had been great lipsticks for weeks and months… I travelled with them, rocked them and shined with them BUT they could not stand the pressure.
Even though they were in a purse, the pressure still got at them.
About to discard them, I took this picture and asked myself, can I stand the pressure?
In this life, pressures come at us, in school, relationships and work place. There are certainly great times where we rock and shine!!! Yet there are times when there is pressure. We can’t afford to melt in the pressure.
My greatest pressure handler is God in me via the Holy Spirit, He keeps me calm through it, sometimes I wake up in the morning and I can sense in my spirit, there is a pressure mounting and then I get to work and VOILA!!
Another resource that has helped me in handling pressure is my emotional intelligence skills. About two years ago, I invested in reading on emotional intelligence… I read articles on it and even got a book… can’t remember the name right now.
Truly being emotional intelligent, helps one control emotions and focus on the issues not persons and ensure through the process we don’t melt.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we will have pressures in life, we need to be ready for it!
Please share how you manage in the pressures you face? Let’s learn together 🤗🤗
