Let me do a lil throwback to my CIMA journey…
Some years ago, I decided to do a professional exam CIMA simply for personal development, then as a consultant in one of the BIG 4s it was not mandatorily so “I was on my own” in terms of getting exam leave or exam payments.
Fast forward to 2 years later, after passing 12 papers, I prepared for the last one – case study. I had been looking forward to this last one since the beginning of my exams. You can’t imagine my disappointment when I didn’t pass – I studied hard and prayed so what could have happened?
I needed 25 to pass and I scored 23, why didn’t God give me the extra 2 marks I needed to pass?
I could not answer that until this week when I saw the picture with my name on it.
He picked me up from failure to the best student in Nigeria and one of Africa’s best!!!!! Wow wow wow!!!!
God needed me to HOLD ON so He could honour me!!!
Dear friends, this our God is bigger than us, truly sometimes we may not understand what He is doing but He certainly is working it ALL OUT and making all things sooooo beautiful in His own time, wait for Him!!! He will honour you!!!
